 TX Responsible Serving Approvals

Texas (Pre-Licensing)
The PSCC TX Responsible Serving Course has been approved by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission and fulfills the certification requirement for alcohol servers and bartenders. Upon successful completion of the course, certified students are uploaded to the state database and sent a wallet card. North Carolina (Pre-Licensing)
The PSCC NC Responsible Serving Course has been approved by North Carolina Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission and fulfills the server certification requirement in North Carolina.

 UT Responsible Serving Approvals

Utah (Pre-Licensing)
The PSCC UT Responsible Serving Course has been approved by Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. This course meets the certification requirements for bartenders and alcohol servers in Utah. Upon successful completion of the course, students can print their certificate. PSCC also uploads information on certified students to the state server database for future employers to verify certification status.

The PSCC IL Responsible Serving Course is a BASSET approved training program for alcohol sellers and servers.

Oregon (Continuing Education)
PHII is approved to provide continuing education in Oregon. Advanced Home Inspection covers relevant subject matter for home inspectors and, as such is accepted by the Oregon CCB for CEU credit. PHII grants 32 CEU credits for the Advanced Home Inspection course. In Oregon, 30 CEUs are required in the 24 months prior to your certification expiration date.

South Dakota (Pre-Licensing)

Oklahoma (Pre-Licensing)

Illinois (Pre-Licensing)

New York (Pre-Licensing)
New York requires you attend a live training class with 100 Hours of Classroom Training, then attend 40 Hours of In-Field Training with a licensed instructor. Specifically, they require 4 modules of 25 hours each for the classroom, and 1 module (module 5) of 40 hours in-field training. Modules can be taken from different schools, or in the case of module 5, can be taken from an inspector in NY.  Course Number: P-0141, P-0142, P-0143, P-0144, P-0145
Arkansas (Pre-Licensing)
Arkansas requires home inspectors to attend a classroom training programs. Our classroom course (10-Day Course) has been approved for the 80 required hours of pre-license education by the State of Arkansas Home Inspector Registration Board.  Course Number: PR-2008-1
Kentucky (Pre-Licensing)
Our application for renewal has been approved. The KY approved course package includes Manufactured Homes and Environmental Hazards courses as well as a live training lab, all of which are offered free to PHII students.

The law specifically requires:
1) high school or equivalent,
2) successfully completed 64 hours of a commission-approved training course,
3) passed the Kentucky state exam,

Maryland (Pre-Licensing)
Maryland requires home inspectors to attend classroom training. The PHII classroom training program offered at our facility in Madison,SD has been approved for the 72 Hour pre-license training requirement.
Indiana (Pre-Licensing)

The PHII Basic Home Inspection Course has been approved for pre-license training in New Hampshire. In New Hampshire home inspectors are required to complete 80 hours of board approved training. The PHII course has been approved for NH Board and fulfills this requirement.
Kansas (Pre-Licensing)
The PHII Classroom Training Program has been approved to meet the 80 pre-license training requirement in Kansas. Kansas Bill 2315 established a state home inspection board and requires home inspectors to register.

The law requires a high school diploma or equivalent degree, successful completion of a 90 hour commission approved training course, passing the Tennessee state home inspection exam and obtaining general liability and errors and omissions insurance.
West Virginia (Pre-Licensing)
Home Inspectors in West Virginia are required to complete 80 hours of classroom training. The PHII Classroom Certification Course has been approved in West Virginia and meets this requirement.
Connecticut (Pre-Licensing)
PHII's Basic Home Inspection Certification course is approved for pre-license education in Connecticut. Upon completion of the course, potential licensees need to file an intern application with the state and complete 100 inspections supervised by a licensed Connecticut Home Inspector.
Mississippi (Pre-Licensing)
PHII's Basic Home Inspection Course has been approved for pre-license training in Mississippi. MS requires new home inspectors to complete 60 hours of approved home inspection training.
Oregon (Pre-Licensing)
PHII's Basic Home Inspection Course has been approved for 10 points toward the 20 points of education and experience required to become licensed as a home inspector.
South Carolina (Pre-Licensing)
PHII's Basic Home Inspection Course has been approved by the SC Residential Builders Commission for SC Home Inspectors. The law requires that home inspectors submit a Home Inspector License Application and include proof of training with the application.

The Manufactured Home Inspection course has been approved for 16 professional development hours. Home inspectors are required to complete a minimum of 40 hours of continuing education for each biennial licensing period. Up to 10 units of continuing education can be obtain online. A home inspector taking this course will be able to carryover over the six additional units to the next licensing period as long as s/he has at least 30 other continuing education units and this course is completed within 6 months of the end of the licensing period.
Oklahoma (Continuing Education)
The PHII Manufactured Home Inspection Course has been approved for 16 hours of continuing education in Oklahoma. As a condition of license renewal or reactivation, each home inspector is required to submit evidence of having attended eight (8) clock hours of continuing education within the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the term for which the license is to be issued.  Course Number: C-180

 Structural Pest Inspection Approvals

South Dakota (Continuing Education)
The Structural Pest Inspection course has been approved for 24 hours of continuing education credit in South Dakota. Pennsylvania (Continuing Education)
Pennsylvania does not license Pest Inspectors, however many banks require inspectors to have their Pest Applicator's license before they will contract with them. The PHII Structural Pest Inspection Course has been approved for 10 Pennsylvania pesticide re-certification training credits for licensees with either a Wood Destroying Pests or Demonstration and Research license. In both of these categories licensees are required to obtain 10 training credits for each three year license period.  Course Number: 000MDH

California (Pre-Licensing)
The PSCC Responsible Serving Course has been approved as part of the California Responsible Beverage Server (RBS)program. In order for licensees to be eligible to receive mitigated penalties, they must provide proof of successful completion of a certified RBS Training Program by the involved server/seller at the time of Notification of Violation interview. Such training must have been successfully completed prior to the date of violation(s) resulting in disciplinary action.

Nebraska (Pre-Licensing)
Nebraska requires a separate license for radon inspection. The PHII course meets the requirements for pre-licensing training in Nebraska. With a certificate of completion from our course, potential inspectors will be able to pursue their Radon Measurement License.
Rhode Island (Pre-Licensing)
This course has been approved by the Rhode Island Department of Health Radon Program and meets the 16 hour training requirement for Initial Radon Measurement Consultants.  Course Number: RTC-009-01
West Virginia (Pre-Licensing)

Ohio (Continuing Education)
To be licensed as a Radon Tester in Ohio, inspectors are required to take a state approved training course. Ohio does not approve online courses for the initial training, however, the PHII Radon Measurement Certification Course has been approved for 16 hours of continuing education for licensed radon professionals in Ohio.
Oregon (Continuing Education)
PHII is approved to provide continuing education in Oregon. Radon Measurement Certification covers relevant subject matter for home inspectors and, as such is accepted by the Oregon CCB for CEU credit. PHII grants 16 CEU credits for the radon measurement course. In Oregon, 30 CEUs are required in the 24 months prior to your certification expiration date.
Connecticut (Continuing Education)

Tennessee does not operate a certification program for radon testers and mitigators. However, they encourage consumers to use radon testers and mitigators that have been certified through National Radon Safety Board (NRSB) or National Environmental Health Association (NEHA).
